ABOUT STAN
Stan grew up in the inner city of Boston in the 1960’s. He came from a good home in a not so good neighborhood. He became somewhat of a trouble maker in his teens, getting involved with a gang, drugs, and stealing cars. While he was living a life of mischief, his closest friends started returning from Vietnam, and he witnessed first hand the destruction the war had caused. With so much fear, dread, and death around him, Stan knew there was a better life for him somewhere else and he decided to find it. He bounced around the country for a bit, but then found his home in the interior of Alaska.

Stan now resides in the Village of Tanana, Alaska with his family where he lives a subsistence lifestyle.
